URGENT UPDATE: Authorities are actively searching for 10-year-old Gabrielle Terrelonge, who was last seen in June. Her mother, Passha Davis, is now in custody as police and the FBI investigate Gabrielle’s disappearance. This shocking turn of events has left the family and community desperate for information.

Gabrielle’s father, Gordon Terrelonge, revealed he has not seen his daughter since April 2023, following a dispute with Davis in Kissimmee, Florida. The alarming situation escalated when Terrelonge discovered online that Davis had been arrested on October 17, 2023, in Margate, Florida, for shoplifting. Concerned about Gabrielle’s safety, he contacted the Margate police, only to learn that his daughter was missing.

“My life has been hell,” Terrelonge shared. “This is the longest I’ve gone without seeing her.” As of now, Gabrielle was reportedly last seen with Davis taking a Greyhound bus to Orlando on June 30, 2023. Witnesses confirmed their arrival at the Florida Mall, with police noting that bus manifests corroborate this timeline.

Davis, who remains in a Broward County jail with a bond set at $100,000, has faced multiple legal issues, including charges of resisting a police officer and providing false identification. Following Davis’s re-arrest on November 4, 2023, for child neglect, police allege she failed to account for Gabrielle’s whereabouts and did not provide necessary care.

During a bond hearing, Davis claimed innocence, stating she wants to fight the allegations against her. Margate police report that her living situation has been unstable, with Davis struggling with mental illness and substance abuse. Court documents reveal they had been moving between various locations, including staying with family and living in a car.

Gabrielle’s paternal grandmother, Jonett Vassel, expressed her anguish, stating, “I cannot sleep, I cannot eat… I’m still trusting God.” Vassel has taken to distributing flyers in Orlando to raise awareness about her granddaughter’s case.

The Florida Department of Children and Families had previously intervened to assist Davis and Gabrielle, but the circumstances surrounding their care remain unclear. Terrelonge described Gabrielle as a vibrant child who loves nature and playing dress-up. “If anyone knows anything, please come forward and let us know,” he pleaded. “You may save my child’s life.”

As the investigation continues, police are urging anyone with information about Gabrielle’s whereabouts to contact them immediately. The search for this missing child is urgent, and her safety hangs in the balance. Stay tuned for updates as this story develops.
