Blue Bell’s Stride and Thrive Wellness Fest Set for Nov. 15
UPDATE: The highly anticipated Stride and Thrive 5/10K and Wellness Fest is set to energize the Blue Bell community on November 15, 2025, from 9 a.m. to noon. This exciting event is a collaboration between the Blue Bell Rotary Club, Montgomery County Community College (MCCC), and Whitpain Township Parks & Recreation, promising a morning filled with health, fitness, and family-friendly activities.
Participants can kick off the day with the 5K and 10K races starting at 7:30 a.m., followed by a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk at 8:30 a.m.. Runners and walkers will traverse a scenic route concluding at MCCC’s Health Sciences Center, located at 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell. Registration for the races is open now at https://runtheday.com/register/detail/5k10k-otb-blue-bell-rotary-club/. Notably, there is no fee for the 1-mile walk.
The Wellness Fest, which is free and open to all, will feature an array of health and wellness providers, making it an ideal opportunity for community members of all ages to learn about improving their well-being. Visitors can explore booths offering services such as art therapy, hearing tests, balance screenings, and therapeutic nutrition. There will also be engaging activities, including fitness classes for kids, yoga, acupuncture, and even free COVID-19 and flu vaccines provided by Skippack Pharmacy, available on-site.
Proceeds from the event will support two important initiatives: the development of a new nature-based accessible playground in Whitpain Township and scholarships for MCCC students in need. This makes the event not only a celebration of health but also a chance to give back to the community.
Wendy Axelrod, the event chair, encourages local businesses to consider sponsorship opportunities to promote their services while contributing to these valuable causes. For inquiries, contact her at [email protected].
Don’t miss this chance to engage with your community, prioritize your health, and enjoy a morning filled with fun! Mark your calendars and get ready to run, walk, and thrive on November 15!
