Three Bay Area Schools Join Disney’s New ‘Stage Connect’ Initiative
Three schools in the Bay Area have been selected to participate in Disney’s inaugural Stage Connect program, an initiative designed to enhance performing arts education. The selected institutions are El Toro Health Science Academy in Morgan Hill, Oakbrook Academy of the Arts in Fairfield, and Searles Elementary in Union City. They are part of a group of 71 schools that will receive show kits, free teacher training, and performance rights to various Disney productions.
The Stage Connect program aims to foster creativity and provide young students with opportunities to engage in the performing arts. Each selected school will benefit from a tailored educational package that includes resources and support to help them integrate theatrical performances into their curricula. The initiative reflects Disney’s ongoing commitment to supporting arts education in schools across the United States.
Schools interested in applying for future opportunities under the Stage Connect program can find more information on Disney’s official channels. This initiative is part of Disney’s broader strategy to invest in community programs and enhance educational outcomes through the arts.
With its multifaceted approach, Disney seeks to inspire the next generation of performers and creatives, establishing a lasting impact on students and educators alike. As part of the company’s efforts to give back to the community, this program aligns with their mission to enrich lives through storytelling and artistic expression.
