UPDATE: Auditions for the beloved musical “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” are happening this Monday, October 27, at 7:30 p.m. at the New Minowa Players Theatre in Decorah. This is a critical opportunity for actors looking to take part in a vibrant community production set to run from January 22-25 and 30-31.

The Minowa Players are seeking six adult actors to portray iconic characters from Charles M. Schulz’s Peanuts series, including Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Schroeder, Sally, and Snoopy. Actors aged 18 and over are encouraged to audition, making this a fantastic chance to step into the spotlight.

Prospective actors must prepare a one-minute monologue and 16-32 bars of a song. Additionally, they will be required to read and sing one of the selected pieces from the show, which are available via the audition form. Interested participants can access the form and further details at newminowaplayers.org/events/auditions.

For any questions or additional information, potential auditionees can reach out to the director, Sheryl Scheffert, at 563-379-5738 or via email at [email protected].

This is an exciting moment for local talent, offering a chance to be part of a cherished production that resonates with audiences of all ages. Don’t miss your chance to shine—mark your calendars and prepare to audition!
