Whitney Leavitt, a star of *The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives*, and her husband, Conner Leavitt, have shared a relationship marked by both challenges and milestones. The couple’s journey began in the early 2010s when Whitney was on her Mormon mission in Georgia, where she encountered Conner’s family. Reflecting on this connection, Whitney mentioned to *Vulture* in May 2025, “It’s just [a] coincidence. How cool is that?” Although they initially did not date, their paths crossed again in 2015 when they agreed to act as wingmen for their friends on a double date. Their friends ultimately bailed, allowing Whitney and Conner to discover their chemistry.

After a year of dating, the couple married in July 2016 inside a Mormon temple in Provo, Utah. They welcomed their first child, daughter Sedona, in November 2019. Their family expanded further when Whitney gave birth to their son Liam in December 2021. However, shortly after Liam’s birth, he was hospitalized with RSV, a situation Whitney later described as “scary” but eventually resolved. During this challenging time, Whitney’s foray into TikTok garnered attention, although some criticized her for the perceived insensitivity of her content.

In July 2022, the Leavitts relocated to Hawaii, a decision stemming from Conner’s admission of a long-standing battle with pornography addiction, which he revealed publicly in 2022. Whitney expressed her love and support for Conner during a 2024 appearance on “The Squeeze” podcast, stating, “He had a porn addiction for a really long time and that was something that was, obviously, really hard to overcome.” This openness about their struggles has strengthened their bond. Whitney noted, “When you go through something that tough and you come out the other end, man, your relationship is stronger than ever.”

The couple faced additional scrutiny when Conner’s secret use of a Tinder account raised questions about his sexuality. In response to speculation, Whitney reassured fans during an October 2024 podcast, “Trust me, we’re good. Like, everything is fine.”

Their story gained further visibility with the premiere of *The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives* on Hulu in September 2024, which showcased Whitney’s pregnancy with their third child, son Billy Gene, born in October 2024. “We are most excited about having our family complete,” she shared in a statement to *People*.

As their public appearances continued, Conner opened up about his childhood sexual abuse during the *Mormon Wives* season 2 reunion in July 2025. Whitney supported his decision to share this vulnerable part of their life, emphasizing its potential to help others.

Whitney’s career took another turn when she was cast in season 34 of *Dancing With the Stars*, paired with professional dancer Mark Ballas. As Whitney trained for the competition, Conner and their children became her primary supporters. “Thank you for being my steady rhythm, my safe place, and my biggest cheerleader,” she expressed in an Instagram post honoring Conner.

The couple’s commitment to one another was further highlighted during the show’s Dedication Night on October 14, 2025, when Conner joined Whitney on stage for a contemporary dance set to Jamal Roberts’ “Heal.” This performance not only showcased their love but also their resilience as a couple navigating the complexities of life together.

Through their journey, Whitney and Conner Leavitt illustrate the power of love and support in overcoming personal challenges, making their story one of hope and perseverance.
