Various high school sports teams across the region showcased their talents on October 10, with several exciting matches taking place. A range of sports results have been compiled from schools, highlighting both competitive victories and closely contested draws.

Notable Soccer Matches

In soccer, several teams delivered standout performances. Pathfinder Technical High School secured a decisive victory over Ware Jr./Sr. High School with a score of 4-0. Meanwhile, Holyoke High School and the High School of Commerce ended their match in a 2-2 draw, demonstrating the competitive spirit of both teams.

Hoosac Valley Middle/High School also excelled, defeating the Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School 3-0. Other notable games included Gateway Regional High School’s 3-1 win against Drury High School and Monson High School’s commanding 6-1 victory over Westfield Technical Academy.

Additional results included Smith Academy dominating Mahar Regional School with a score of 7-0, and Springfield International Charter School edging Granby Jr./Sr. High School with a narrow 1-0 win. The match between Turners Falls High School and Athol High School ended with Turners Falls emerging victorious at 4-0.

Football Highlights

In football, Minnechaug Regional High School triumphed over East Longmeadow High School with a score of 21-7, while Springfield Central High School delivered an impressive performance, defeating Longmeadow High School 56-0. West Springfield High School also showcased their skills, winning against Westfield High School with a score of 35-20.

Agawam High School had a strong showing as well, defeating Southwick Regional School 3-1, and Milton High School secured a commanding 35-7 victory over Wachusett Regional High School. In another highlight, St. John’s Prep overwhelmed Boston College High School, finishing the match 35-0.
