Niagara University Unveils $2 Million Bieler Institute for Ethics
Niagara University has officially inaugurated the new Bieler Institute of Business Ethics, a $2 million facility located on the first floor of Bisgrove Hall. The institute aims to foster ethical leadership and innovation in business education. This project was made possible by a generous gift of $750,000 from Scott and Kathy Bieler, along with support from the Scott Bieler Family Foundation.
Scott Bieler, who serves as the president and CEO of West Herr Auto Group, is recognized as one of Western New York’s leading philanthropists. The university dedicated the summer to completing the institute in time for the fall semester of 2023. The Bieler Institute is poised to enhance programs and integrate coursework across various disciplines, including food industry management, artificial intelligence, and financial services.
Innovative Learning Spaces
The Bieler Institute is designed to create an engaging learning environment that prepares students for real-world challenges. Among its key features is a collaboration hub that includes a flexible, technology-enabled space for teamwork and innovation. This area is intended to facilitate creative projects and group work among students.

A high-tech computer lab equipped with financial trading terminals and essential business software will further support students in developing practical skills. This facility is expected to become a central part of the university’s mission to cultivate ethical leaders in the business community.
