URGENT UPDATE: A motorcycle crash in Wabasha County, Minnesota, has left a rider injured this afternoon. At approximately 2:46 PM on October 4, 2025, David Keith Stevens, a 27-year-old from Shoreview, was involved in a serious incident on U.S. Highway 60 near milepost 217.

According to a report from the Minnesota State Patrol, Stevens was riding his 2001 Yamaha motorcycle eastbound when he crashed into a guardrail. Emergency responders from the Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office and Wabasha Fire and Ambulance quickly arrived at the scene to provide assistance.

Stevens sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Gundersen Health in Wabasha for treatment. Thankfully, he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, which likely mitigated the severity of his injuries.

This incident underscores the importance of safety gear while riding. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. Motorists are advised to remain cautious in the area as traffic adjustments may be in place following the accident.
