UPDATE: Ryobi has just announced the addition of three new auger-propelled snow blowers to its permanent product lineup, perfectly timed for the winter season. This latest development offers consumers powerful alternatives to gas-powered models, making snow removal more efficient and environmentally friendly.

The new lineup includes two robust 40-volt models, available in 21-inch and 18-inch sizes, as well as a compact 18-volt option. All models are designed to match or exceed the performance of traditional gas snow blowers, providing consumers with effective solutions to tackle winter weather.

Each snow blower features a brushless motor powered by Ryobi’s long-lasting lithium batteries. Notably, the 40V units are compatible with batteries from over 85 other products in Ryobi’s 40V line, while the 18V blower works seamlessly with more than 300 tools in the ONE+ family. This versatility adds significant value for users already invested in Ryobi’s ecosystem.

The standout model, the 40V HP Brushless 21-inch Single-Stage Auger-Propelled Snow Blower, rivals the power of a 208cc gas snow blower. With a clearing width of 21 inches and a clearing depth of 11.5 inches, it can handle up to 25 car spaces using two 8Ah batteries. This powerful machine can throw snow up to 35 feet, making it an essential tool for homeowners facing heavy snowfall. The tool-only model retails for $599, while the complete kit, which includes two batteries and a charger, is available for $799 at Home Depot.

For those needing slightly less power, the 40V HP Brushless 18-inch Single-Stage Auger-Propelled Snow Blower performs similarly to a 123cc gas blower. With an 18-inch clearing width and 12.5-inch depth, it can clear up to 20 car spaces with the included 8Ah battery or up to 30 spaces with a 12Ah battery. This model is priced at $499 at Home Depot, making it an attractive option for many homeowners.

The third addition, the 18V ONE+ HP Brushless 18-inch Single-Stage Snow Blower, matches the performance of the mid-sized 40V unit and features an 18-inch clearing width and 13-inch depth. It can handle up to 15 car spaces with the two 6Ah batteries included in the $499 kit available on Ryobi’s website. This model utilizes dual active battery ports to maximize power efficiency.

All models come equipped with variable-speed augers, 180-degree directional chutes, and LED headlight bars for early morning or late-night snow clearing. Their folding handles also ensure easy storage when not in use.

These new offerings expand Ryobi’s growing line of snow-clearing tools, which includes the 40V and 18V ONE+ electric snow shovels and the 40V Whisper Series Snow Blowers. The latest models are designed for single-stage operation, providing cleaner and quieter operation compared to two-stage options, making them ideal for residential areas.

As winter weather approaches, Ryobi’s new snow blowers represent a significant leap in snow removal technology, combining power, versatility, and ease of use. Consumers looking to upgrade their snow-clearing arsenal can find these models at Home Depot and on Ryobi’s official website.

Stay tuned for more updates as winter unfolds, and ensure you’re prepared for whatever Mother Nature throws your way!
