URGENT UPDATE: A London pub is honoring the memory of slain activist Charlie Kirk by dedicating its entertainment lounge as the Charlie Kirk Debate Room. The announcement comes just days after Kirk was tragically shot on September 10 while speaking to students at Utah Valley University.

The pub, Biddy Mulligan’s Olympia, located in Brook Green, Hammersmith & Fulham, aims to celebrate free speech and Kirk’s contributions to the MAGA movement. According to a press release from the establishment, the new debate room will provide guests with a space to honor Kirk’s legacy.

Damien Smyth, the pub’s landlord, expressed his shock at Kirk’s assassination, stating, “Millions of people around the world have been left horrified that a decent family man like Charlie could be slaughtered during a peaceful and open public debate.” Smyth emphasized the need to stand against what he calls the “rise of left-wing extremism and violence.”

“We owe it to his wife and children to send a clear message that we stand against the rise of left-wing extremism and violence,” said Smyth.

The establishment plans to host events aimed at celebrating Kirk’s achievements and free speech, highlighting the urgency of the discourse surrounding current political climates. This initiative follows widespread mourning for Kirk, who has been memorialized through vigils across the United States and now internationally.

As an additional symbolic gesture, Biddy Mulligan’s will temporarily rename itself The Trump Arms during former President Donald Trump’s upcoming visit to the UK. Smyth stated that the pub’s new name will remain until Trump concludes his stay, reinforcing the pub’s support for Trump’s leadership.

“President Trump has been democratically elected not once, but twice, and deserves respect for all his achievements in making America great again,” Smyth asserted.

Regular patrons, such as Patrick Sullivan, voiced their support for Trump, highlighting the admiration many in the UK have for his policies. Sullivan noted, “The British look across the pond with envy at such strong leadership, which is why a political tidal wave is now inevitable.”

As the situation develops, the Biddy Mulligan’s initiative underscores the emotional impact of Kirk’s death and the ongoing conversation about free speech and political discourse. This urgent tribute serves as a reminder of the importance of commemorating individuals who have sparked significant dialogue and change.
