UPDATE: In a heartwarming surprise, former Blue Bell Elementary student Hanrok Ji was awarded two tickets to the 2026 Super Bowl during a special assembly on September 9. The presentation, organized by the American Heart Association (AHA) in partnership with the NFL Foundation, celebrates Ji for his participation in the AHA’s Hands-Only CPR education module, a vital program teaching life-saving skills.

The event unfolded at the Blue Bell Elementary auditorium in Pennsylvania, where Ji was one of only five students nationwide to receive this prestigious prize. “A big shout-out for learning this life-saving skill,” exclaimed AHA’s school engagement director Mollie Bennett. “You now have the power to help someone in need in school, at home, or even on the field.”

The excitement reached a peak when Philadelphia Eagles players Jihaad Campbell and Fred Johnson, along with the team mascot Swoop and an Eagles cheerleader, made a surprise appearance to present Ji with the tickets. Applause erupted as the athletes entered the auditorium, and Campbell expressed his appreciation, saying, “It’s an honor to come out here and cherish this great moment with you guys.”

Ji’s mother, who chose to remain anonymous, described the experience as a “big surprise” and expressed her gratitude for the AHA’s initiatives. “We’re very happy,” she stated. “And we’re very happy to support this Association.”

The Hands-Only CPR education module is part of the AHA’s Kids Heart Challenge, aimed at enhancing students’ understanding of heart health while engaging them in physical activities. This initiative aligns with the NFL’s PLAY 60 campaign, which encourages children to engage in at least an hour of physical activity each day. All participants were entered into a prize pool, with Ji emerging as the sole winner from a vast pool of thousands across 13 states in the region.

Bennett noted the collaborative effort in organizing the event, stating, “The Eagles wanted to be involved … so we came up with this elaborate thing.” Principal Angelo Farlow praised the partnership, highlighting the importance of exercise and wellness for students.

As excitement builds, Super Bowl LX is set for February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Bennett reminded the students of the Eagles’ recent success, saying, “They were in the Super Bowl last year, so we are trying to get them there again this year.”

As the assembly wrapped up, Campbell and Johnson high-fived every student, leaving them with an enthusiastic, “Go Eagles!” This uplifting event not only rewards Ji for his commitment to learning but also emphasizes the critical importance of CPR education in saving lives, making it an unforgettable day for all involved.
