CS Analytical Laboratory, a leading FDA-registered contract laboratory, is set to host an educational webinar focused on the testing requirements for medical-grade gases in the pharmaceutical industry. In partnership with its joint venture company, Gas Testing Analytical, the event titled “Audit Ready Gas Testing – Navigating USP, EP and FDA Requirements” will take place on September 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM EST. This one-hour session will include a Q&A segment to address specific attendee inquiries.

The webinar will be led by Chad Felter, General Manager of Gas Testing Analytical. With over 15 years of experience in gas sampling and regulated laboratory operations, Felter aims to equip participants with a thorough understanding of all USP and EP gas testing requirements. “Qualification of gases used in the development and manufacturing process is an area that is often overlooked or misunderstood,” Felter stated.

In the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device sectors, ensuring the quality and purity of process utilities is essential for product safety, efficacy, and regulatory compliance. Gas testing plays a vital role in maintaining manufacturing integrity and safeguarding personnel while meeting global standards. These gases are integral throughout various stages of production, including synthesis, packaging, and storage.

A robust validation and monitoring program that includes process gases, water systems, compressed air, room air, and other utilities is critical for complying with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Participants in the webinar will learn how to effectively plan for and implement gas testing specific to the use of USP and EP monographed gases in their operations.
